Easy Southern Cooking/ Sweet Corn Bread Recipe
Sweet Corn Bread½ stick melted butter In a large bowl, combine the cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in the butter, milk and egg , stirring until just combined. Do not over-stir. Pour into a greased pan and bake at 400 degrees for 20 -25 minutes, or until golden brown and toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. These can also be baked in muffin tins or molds. |
