Roasted Pumpkin Seeds
Seeds from 1 pumpkin
Salt
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
- Rinse seeds under running water in a colander. Remove all fibers.
- Lay seeds on paper towel and pat dry.
- Place seeds on cookie sheet and sprinkle with salt.
- Bake 30 minutes, stirring occasionally until golden brown.
- Leave in the pan to cool. Store in a plastic bag.

Toasted Pumpkin Seeds II
Seeds from 1 pumpkin
Salty water
- Preheat oven to 275 degrees
- Rinse seeds under running water in a colander. Remove all fibers.
- Cover seeds with salted water. You want the water to be salty enough to deposit salt on the seeds. Bring to a boil.
- Simmer until seeds are slightly translucent.
- Drain seeds and spread onto a cookie sheet.
- Bake until seeds are dry.
- Cool on pan, then store in a plastic bag.
